Aiko Bizzard Born Wednesday 27th October 2001. Died Thursday 27th June 2002
Aiko was the half brother to our other Labrador 'Blue' (now 3)
Aiko came in to our lives in December 2001
a lovely little bundle of fun, he was a great character and had the softest fur you could ever
imagine.
We chose the name AIKO (which means love) and BLIZZARD (because he was nearly white in colour)
This site is our tribute to our great little guy
who we will miss with all our hearts but will never EVER forget him
TRIBUTE POEM BY TRACEY
Aiko Blizzard.
It was October, year 2000 and 1
A puppy was born and our hearts he had won,
We gave him the name Aiko, Blizzard as well
He was almost white with that new puppy smell.
We picked him up just before xmas that year
He had been bitten inside his left ear,
It had been done by a sister or brother
Helped to heal by his dear loving mother.
He got into everything from this down to that
He chewed wires, socks, paper and peed on the mat,
He was so cheeky, always answering us back
Always getting told off, but never a smack.
Aged eight months old today, he got put to sleep
Our poor little Aiko we could no longer keep,
He had fit after fit and couldn't be cured
Our hearts are in two, our tears we have poured.
He's gone to a place people call "Doggie Heaven"
We'll all miss this boy millions, no, times that by 7,
He was a happy little soul, simply one of the best
But thank God nothing can hurt him, now he is at rest.
Whoever now has him, please treat him with care
People say "It's for the best" but it still isan't fair,
We are all numb and our heads are really hazy
But not 1 day will pass where we don't miss him like crazy.
Aiko Blizzard.

AIKO'S LIFE
Although a short life (Aiko died exactly 8 months old) He had a fun life , was always playful, with us and with Blue our other Labrador , it was great to see them playfighting together. It was also good to see them snuggled up to each other. Their love was undeniable.
Sadly in mid June Aiko had an epileptic fit and three days later after being hospitalised at the vets he came home on medication and appeared to be making a recovery.
But on June 25th 2002 Aiko had another 'fit' and was hospitalised again , unfortunately despite the vets best efforts he never recovered and had to be put to sleep on Thursday 27th June 2002.
What we will miss
We will miss Aiko's cheeky character, his boundless energy and also his very loving nature.
We will miss playing 'tippy toes' with him and 'fetch' and also seeing him swim with Blue at the lake in the local country park.
I will also miss the way he used to follow me everywhere in the daytime whilst Tracey was at work and Junior at School .
He was not a dog but was in fact one of our children and will be missed more than words can say .
Please have a look at the rest of the photos on the site, these are a tribute to our great Little Guy AIKO BLIZZARD.
It is now nearly a year since Aiko left us and he is still a big part of our lives. For those who believe , he is still with us from time to time and still creating mischief - sitting at the bottom of the stairs in Blues way !
I never believed that a dog could create such an impact in our lives but in his short time with us Aiko did and he continues to do so.
